Ah, arthritis. It's something we expect at a certain age (hello, me) but it still hurts. And it beats surgery and especially rehab.
I have a knee and an ankle that are unhappy from injuries in my youth (one at 13!) and I wear elastic braces/supports on them all day. If orthotics aren't an option, I recommend those.
I have lots of arthritis - Knees, fingers, toes, one shoulder, etc but generally I am able to keep under control with herbs, certain exercises, etc. and occasional advil, but this didn't respond to any of usual--and I thought it was plantar fasciitis until the exercises I routinely do for that actually made it feel worse--so the diagnosis tells me I need advice on how to treat this particular problem.
Ajj, arthritis painful butt, as someone already mentioned, you know what you are dealing with. Hopefully with the right exercise and diet (yes there are specific diets for a flare up) it will be manageable. Take care!
Arthritis is not a good diagnosis but at least you know what you’re dealing with. How lovely! I’m not seeing any roses around in central Oregon!!
Love the roses. Mine are covered in snow wrapped in burlap for the winter.
Good news about the foot and the book. Always a bonus for good news.
Thank you for being so upbeat about the pain you’re experiencing. I’m really looking forward to reading “Where the Glassflowers Grow”
Thanks!
Meloxicam!
Thank you for brightening my day! Sorry about the foot; when your feet hurt, you hurt all over.

A cold night last week finally ended my roses.

Oh, and let's not discuss the fingers, especially thumbs. I haven't found a brace that I can type in yet though!
(that sound you just heard was my right thumb cracking after 45 years of hitting the spacebar!)
I hope your doctor can keep it under control. What herbs do you use?
