Had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner with perfectly cooked tofurky roast with stuffing and 8 different roasted vegetables!! I made a pumpkin cheesecake pie with a gingersnap crust this year instead of our usual Smith Family English Sherry Trifle. Champagne was exquisite as always! ❤️🤗. Love the holidays!!
Had to forego our tradition of Thanksgiving with family in LA area and in Carlsbad, including beach walks! Tested positive for covid the morning we were to drive south. Fingers crossed we will make it south for Christmas and our grandson's 8th birthday. Although we are isolating here in our home in the historic gold rush town of Auburn, we are not isolated. Still getting dog walks, although much shorter. So enjoying your daily pictures from my former home town.

What a lovely Thanksgiving you had. Ours was also lovely, lively, and noisy, but wonderful. Much to be thankful for today.
