They sent out warnings via Facebook and the city notification system that you register for. But they neglected to comment once they had the guy in custody. Things to keep us old folks hyped up!
Oh my gosh! So hard on dogs and people who have ptsd or are sensitive to loud noises. You'd think they'd give some warning. And, wait! You have the new season of Death in Paradise?!? What service do you see it on? We usually get via Acorn or BritBox and I'm anxiously awaiting as I need lighter show to balance against Poker Face. Although 'All Creatures' makes a good counterpoint. Still. I need some Caribbean sunshine during the winter!

I don't know, sounds like your emergency was worse than ours! And paper says these operations are over for now. Lots of complaints!
For what it's worth, I've found colliodal silver very helpful with styes. I put a drop or two on my fingertip and wipe it across the eye lid.

They just dropped 2 new episodes of Death in Paradise, I believe on BritBox. Also did a Christmas special if you missed that.
