I have the audio of Between Mountain and Sea, but the cover doesn't look like that one! We finally delivered all our tax stuff to the tax man today and was surprised that we don't owe as much as I thought, and even a small return from the state! So keep steady. You'll be done soon. We are getting some very chilly wind up in Orange County too, and the dark clouds are moving in.
As I moved towards this new book two things happened. The cover designer who has done all my books since the beginning has now a very successful business that doesn't really include covers (although she promises to always do the historicals), so I was going to have to find someone else to do the next one. I had also been thinking about doing some rebranding, so this would be a good time to come up with a very different feel for the brand. An author friend graciously volunteered work on coming up with this new brand, which I think does a much better job of fitting in with other science fiction works, and emphasizing varied aspects of Ddaera, the planet.
I read the first book, Between Mountain and Sea. For awhile, I read a lot of science fiction. And, enjoyed it. Not so much anymore. Your book was excellent but I prefer your historical novels. Right now I’m not doing much reading. It’s just a phase. Oh, and I didn’t owe as much on my taxes either and got some back from the state.
