I have bought several "dog" beds for my elderly cat in the kitchen...she loves them. 1 on the kitchen table where she can look outside, and 2 side by side on the floor out of the way. Kit is 20 years old and is locked in the kitchen by screen doors--she can look out, just not get out. Unless I let her go drink out of the rest of the cats drinking bowls (same stuff, just tastes better I guess).
You might try Arnicare Cream for temporary relief from the arthritis issue. Over the counter in tube.and non- greasy. I use it on hands and knees for flare ups. Walgreens carries it
Thanks, I have a set herbal creams and RX that really help, and unfortunately one of them was back ordered but just came in yesterday. They tend to give more 24 hour relief that than topicals I have tried, like arnica and tiger bomb. Of course, I am a firm believer in the placebo effect as well, which means that whatever we think works, does tend to work better! My husband just read me the results of a study that said that in double-blind study, fake acupuncture was more effective than fake medication for pain!
A dog nest!! I need one of those--to write in!
