Have you considered listing the giveaway furniture in a local sales site for people to come pick up? I have recently gotten furniture by looking through "free" listings. It's been very helpful.
Facebook has Marketplace and it's very easy to use. Just need a photo. Lots of people put their free stuff on the curb or in their driveway and announce it is there. No need to make appointments unless you'd like to do it that way.
I know it doesn't give the charities the money they'd earn from the sale, but the items usually go to good homes that can't afford to buy right now (like me).
That is our fallback, but we have done this before with a single piece, but there is so much and most of the stuff is too heavy for my husband to wrestle safely out of the house to take to curb.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Scary thoughts!
