Now I’m curious! What was that popping noise and did all of the windows get closed? I guess I’ll have to go to my kindle and finish reading the story! 😁 Thanks for all the enjoyable hours to spend in San Francisco. Nasty weather predicted for the PNW today and tomorrow. Family in Eugene (426 ft. / 131 m) have snow and ice. Our little town sitting at 1200 ft. / 378m) Is snow and ice free.

My daughter lives in Olympia, and while it looks like it is snowing right now, it will soon turn into freezing rain. I wish she didn't have to pick her boys up from school and drive on highways to get home.

The only good thing about getting older is that I don't remember 100% of the plots of stories I read 15 years ago. So I can enjoy these again!

Particularly since the copies I bought then have gone the way of all text when you no longer know the credit card number you bought them under, or the password you used.

It's rained here pretty steadily (if lightly) today and I had to put on another layer in the house. There were apparently 2 small earthquakes near here. I was sitting right here on the couch when the later, larger one hit and didn't even notice till a friend from elsewhere texted me! The garbage truck yesterday shook the house more and made so much more noise.

I really enjoyed the rain, but sort of wish the harder rain of yesterday had come during the daylight so I could enjoy looking at it. Today it is back to drizzle!

Yesterday was drizzle/soft rain. Today is sunny again.

I like my rain like the old song from "Camelot", at night. Much better for commuters, too.
