Good luck with your bathroom remodels! I know they will be centers of pleasure for years to come. I love doing remodels and putting all of the pieces together. Hubby and I, though, have different taste. I tend toward a cooler feel and he likes a warmer feel. We have not regretted any of our choices so far. My kitchen still makes me happy even after 15 years of use!
Just back from some travels in France and reading your aging in place comments. Having done this already, one thing I am glad we included was both a rain head in the shower for when one can stand but also a hand held unit next to our seat. This proved to be a good idea as I know must sit to shower and the hand held unit is wonderful.
We definitely are getting the hand-held for the bathroom where we are changing the tub into a shower and installing a seat. One of those things we hope we won't need anytime soon, but will be glad to have when we do.
