No to the book question, but when I retired from teaching after 33+ years, it was much harder to remember when school buses and such would disrupt traffic patterns and when vacations would be. The first 8 years after retirement we moved to an agricultural area and I started a small farm. Then I really knew what the seasons were! Also sunrises, sunsets, rain, ice, and snow. It was a great way to really feel alive and in touch. My favorite time of day was an hour before sunrise when I could see the Milky Way. I hadn't seen that in over 40 years!

My email account keeps me "Up to date" because it SHOWS the date. My real confusion comes when my "favorite" show on TV (regular tv, not streaming) moves to a different day than the one it "always" was on.

Oh, I remember the days when you knew what day it was because of what of the (4 channels) were showing what!

Gorgeous flowers! Yes I have had that disorientation from certain holidays after my kids were no longer in school and I wasn’t working anymore. It is kinda weird 😁

Here in Essex, England, we have the conventional seasons, mid October is definitely autumn, but we had temperatures of c 23°C, wore thin linen trousers and a thin linen top, lot of sunshine, today maximum 13°C, frost last night, heating on, most likely sunny- this is not usual to have such extremes, but we loved the hot weather so far into October...

This is happening to us as well. We had chilly, cloudy, then hotter than usual. Up and down, got out our down comforter, then had to put on A/C yesterday!
