Leeza would delight me too. Their character comes out over time. And they give you all they have. My Copper is not the quickest out of the gate -- but he tries to be sweet (even though he's only managed to make 7-8 friends in the neighbourhood (other dogs are a challenge.) He treats his stuffies just like Leeza. However, no sirens upset him -- only the new backyard tomcat who's fiercely guarding his own home turf. Gets noisy back there.
My friend Ernie always rescued dobermans and several had quirks. Julie objected to jet contrails and always barked at them. Thanks for sharing Leeza stories with us.
Happy Mother's Day! Don't know what I would have done without my Tuppence since my husband died. She's a boxer mix and scared of rain and thunder but the sweetest girl. She "owns" the couch, the bed, loveseat and other recliner. But does allow me the recliner in the corner! Lol
Love the name Tuppence! We had a couch in our den, but moved it into the living room under the front window) and now use two rockers when we are in there)...primarily so Leeza could sit on the couch and look out, and it now is definitely "her" couch!
Happy Mother’s Day! Yesterday when I was released from the hospital I enjoyed two families of Canada geese strolling on the lawn. The goslings were adorable balls of fluff!

This was wonderful! It's great to learn about Leeza—she's so sweet. Blue does the same thing with his toy bin. He enjoys getting toys but not so much playing with them for any period!
