Daily Diary, Day 735: As anticipated, with a total of 5 hours spent on the phone yesterday, it was a bust in terms of writing, But good conversations, and then I spent a quiet evening reading.

Today, my husband and I spent the morning with our niece, who has been in town helping her daughter and fiancé move. We got to see the fruits of everyone’s labor, a lovely 2 bedroom near Mission Bay, with a nice backyard. Talked for about 3 hours and got pretty well caught up on the extended family.

Then home, lunch, and now ,I must say, I should try to write after this post, but what my body wants to do is nap. It was definitely cooler last night, so that is good, and only in mid 80s inside right now. But humph…the enervating effect seems to be cumulative.

So, maybe I will read a little, work a little on what I am going to call Science Tidbits, which I hope to get up tomorrow. Like Historical Tidbits, this will be some research I found myself doing for the science fiction novel I am currently writing.

Or, maybe I will nap (smile.)

From my walk today here is an Iris. (Folks who know flowers, did I get that right?)
