Your enjoyment of your spider friends is making me happy, because I often will not disturb our daddy long legs visitors as they help catch the flies in summer and other insects. Mind you when we are having visitors I may disturb some of the webs.
I don't feel nearly as bad dusting the corners-unless I see a daddy long legs, since they don't seem to be into making regular webs like other spiders. Edgars' seem pretty slap dash!
Yesterday morning I took a shower and a good-sized DLL was hanging (literally) under the bathtub faucet! I scooped it up out of harm's way and watched it trundle the full length of the tub and hide underneath the shelf in the back corner. Only then did I turn the water on. And of course I thought I must share this here; even more now that I know Edgar's hiding.
The 3rd Blue Ant book, I won a hardback of when it came out and was in an online book club for. It's a great time. And of course it has all the correct tech of 2009 so it's not too far off.
Oh, thanks for sharing, both about the DLL and the Blue Ant. I know I read it before, but I've forgotten the plot and just a little way into book 2 at this point.
What a lovely, frothy, chiffon looking Rose?
Amazing how humble drops of water can add so much beauty!
Thar beautiful rose puts me in a fairy-type dream land.

Our daddy long legs do seem to make and stay with webs- different continent possibly different kind.
