Great post, sister! So appreciate the evaluation of activity as time goes on. Sure has changed for me, but my priorities as well. Also, can so relate trying to find a good series. Last night I spent a bit of time trying to find a good movie on various streaming devices, gave up and grabbed my book!

Curious, do you tend to be a morning person? I ask because I most definitely am not and mornings are very sluggish for me. I get energetic at night when I should be winding down. I have noticed the same is true for my mother-in-law who is in her mid-80s.

The cost of the battery (and wipers) just has me stunned. Life really has gotten too expensive! I need something checked out on my van and just to drive into the shop is $300 PLUS the repair. I'm having trouble dealing with that.

I only watch one hour of tv a night and still have times when I can't find something engaging. Have you seen Hacks? I think you might enjoy it. Lots of social commentary, though.

Definitely always been a morning person, voluntary took the 8 am classes, and hated the few times I had to teach evening classes. Thankfully my husband is the same. Despite being retired for over 15 years so we can get up anytime we want, we seldom sleep past 6. So I'm not surprised at feeling tired in evening, but in past it was brain getting sluggish, now it is also body. Yes, we like Hacks, and watched first episode of the new season last night...but at the start of the night, knowing it wasn't exactly going to be a feel good episode, given the way the last season ended! (smile.)

How disappointing NGOs seem to be harder with decisions made.

Our car alert light was for oil change. It is set for time relapsing since last change, but we don't put a lot of mileage on it...very frustrating. Flagging energy is also my problem, but I am slow to start in the morning and reluctant to end the day at 9 p.m.!

Oh how annoying about the light. We are the same in terms of not achieving the milage they think normal, but never had to deal with a light.
