Wow, this all sounds exciting. Thanks for writing this backstory to the series and its authors (introduction), and involving us in your writing process. I'm looking forward to reading the weekly posts on the updated short story with your daughter. I also can't wait to read about the joys and woes of writing as a group.
I have fallen in love with the Paradisi world and have read through most of what is out there. I am so grateful that you had a part in creating this world. I love sci-fi, but have a hard time finding the kind I like to read, so I am sad that you are completing your Caelestis series. Will you develop another series in the Paradisi world from a different perspective? I hope so! You are an excellent story teller in this world.
Thanks so much for your kind words. I will complete the sequel to the Stars are Red Tonight, but then I will turn back to the historical mystery series for a year. I do have a couple of ideas of shorter works set in Caelestis, and I definitely love writing in the Paradisi universe, so I wouldn't preclude writing more novels after a spell of working on the mystery series. But at this age, one year at a time is about all I am comfortable planning out!
Another good reason to have a fiancé whose first language is Welsh!
Oh my, then you probably do a better job of hearing how the words are supposed to sound in your head than I am!
I can listen to him speak Welsh until the cows come home ... on skateboards!

Look forward to reading more. I have the first book in this series already!
