Happy Anniversary. It's also my 80th birthday, and I'm going strong. I'm leaving for a trip to Germany on Sunday.

We have the same set of bowls, although we will only celebrate our 25th on my husband's birthday this Novemer. We are second time around and decided it would be easier to remember! And we chose the same process for our gifts! Happy Anniversary no matter the date, Barb Blizzard

Sometimes I feel like you and I share a life. Tomorrow would be my 54 th anniversary. Bob and I had 50 years together before his death in 2020. We fell quickly and madly in love, I barely made it to class my last semester because I was learning about life on the farm. Fortunately i was a good student!. I moved every 3 years growing up since my father built power plants. His family has lived here since 1821. Lots of differences apparently, but our core values were the same. He could always make me laugh! That's my advice to young people, go with the one that makes you laugh!

Ah, I would love to hear the full story, but thanks for the glimpse. For me it wasn't 2 different religions, but a Yankee and a Southerner...but still a culture shock for both sides (smile.)

Chris and I, like you and your Husband were on the same page. Families Diametrically different in attitudes and politics! His Very Conservative though same Political Party (until they voted for R. Regan!) and a Liberal Minded Family on my side. Anyway all this came from the Photo of Our Exact Bowl Set! Always love commenting on your sharing with us! Thanks for the reply. We are now 70 and I find I still hav so much to say. Ah, age. polly
