It’s always amazing how we gear ourselves up for meetings, presentations, classes, and all. Adrenaline is truly amazing! Leeza and hubby deserved their naps after all the walking and grooming.
I won’t ask how it went. I would spend an entire day getting ready for one audition appointment. Crazy. At least you had a guaranteed audience as a professor. 😉 Love the name Leeza. Is your furry daughter named after anyone?
She was a two year old rescue with that name from the rescue center, so she got to keep it! Poor dear, when we got her about two years ago, she had been rescued from Texas (from fires?) had 10 puppies and a series of medical issues so she had been at the center for about six months before we got her. She has completely bonded with my husband and is very sweet. Except that we think she was a farm dog who herded, and she has decided I'm her flock, so she tends to herd me, doesn't like it when I get up to go to the kitchen for a snack at night!
I used to do a lot of lecturing/teaching/workshops. I remember how much I enjoyed it the interaction with people during and after. Your rumination bought back some very good memories. Good luck with the workshop, not that you need it you’ll smash it X
