The one thing I remember from my limited visits to the southern US was the summer humidity! Have you ever thought about trying dictation to help with the times when it's difficult to sit at the desk?

Actually, San Diego is really a desert, so more likely to be dry, unlike Georgia where my husband grew up. But we live close enough to the ocean to get a marine layer, and meteorologists say that the increased temperature of the ocean is increasing our local humidity as well. As with a lot of climate change, no one is sure if this is a long term trend for us, but it certainly seems to be adding to the effect of the higher over all temperatures. As for dictation, I can see the benefit, but right now, learning to handle the software, etc, would just slow me down. Reserving this step for if the eyesight goes someday. (smile)
