Daily Diary, Day 1143: I've been wrestling all morning with a scene, so at one point it looked like I had nearly 300 words written, but now it is down to 60, which means that I am cutting out sections I had previously written more than I am moving forward. But, I am almost there, so maybe after lunch and a scheduled phone call, I will get some work done on the next chapter!
We had fog again this morning, which kept things cool, which makes the walk quite pleasant. And the sun almost set before I got done with my after-dinner walk yesterday, so I definitely am going to have to shift to walking before dinner once daylight savings time happens in a few week.
Otherwise, not much new to report. Just another pirate skeleton from this morning (and if you look close there seems to be skeletons of a snake eating a dog!) For some reason the way the pirate's mouth is open, he looks like he is laughing to me! Certainly adds some variety to the daily walk.
I am cheering for you... you'll beat the gremlins and get many words written that delight you and bring you joy!
