Daily Diary, Day 1088: I just finished one phone call, have another coming up, so I thought I would dash this off if I can. Really good day yesterday, 2 walks, some PT exercises, and actually got 365 words written in new novel.
This morning, besides the phone calls, I wrote the draft for tomorrow's recommendations post, and yesterday I picked away at a draft for the next Authors Corner post. This afternoon I will do more work on that, but I hope to devote most of the afternoon to writing some more on the novel.
I can't tell you how good it felt to actually get some words down, even if I end up cutting some of them. It is always an issue for me on how to start a book. With a series, you need to put in enough references so people who have ready prior books are reminded of who people are, but not too much so that there isn't a good hook.
Not a lot of options for photos in my walks yesterday. Either very old, falling apart blooms, or plants that lost all their blooms in the storm. But this one was definitely pretty.
Beautiful flower. Glad theweather was a “disappointment “!
Life gets insanely busy at times! Sounds like it caught you. Glad you could put a few ideas down in the story. The pretty Belladonna lilies are an old fashioned favorite.
