Daily Diary, Day 1176: Very lovely, sunny day, mild Santa Anna, it is 76 degrees and supposed to go up a little more this afternoon. I am pleased to say I did two 20 minute walks yesterday, and another one this morning, with no pain in my right foot. So I have concluded that what I had was a very severe arthritis flare-up, not anything broken. And in future, when I get this sort of pain, I will do the 24 hours of advil, and icing, which worked splendidly this time, and only panic about a break if this doesn't work.
I did get some writing done yesterday, but again, more editing than new writing so only 120 words. This morning I have been, again, mostly rewriting, but I have gotten 111 new words, so maybe by the end of the dayI can get at least nearer to 500.
One house has replaced its Halloween with a general fall scheme of decorating, see below.
Otherwise, I am noticing a few xmas wreathes. I'll order one after Thanksgiving (last year the one I ordered barely made it through to end of December, so I don't want to order too soon. These Santa Ana's are brutal on real pine based decorations.)
Anyone among you have your trees up already?

I only made Thanksgiving plans this morning! Nothing like solving problems by throwing money at them (it does work though)
I have a Christmas Arch --lots of colored lights--that I put up Dec 1 and take down Jan 1. At least I hope to do so this year. it has been in my storage room that used to be a real apartment and now is being used as a partial apartment. The two people staying in it have moved/scrambled the whole place so not sure it still works. Sigh.
