Sleep disrupted, sunny, and NaNoWriMo is helping me get my daily word count up.
Daily Diary, Day 1161: Supposedly we are heading into cooler weather, but it reached 79 yesterday, and it is 77 now, although it looks as if it has plateaued. The first time I got up to go to the bathroom last night it was so foggy, couldn't see a thing. Next time it was clear and remained clear! Some little front most of have in and then out.
We turned back the clocks when we went to bed, although we went at our regular time as far as our bodies were concerned, but I woke early, both according to my body and the clock. Major Sunday cleaning (nearly two hours off and on) so no walk. Don't know yet what I am going to do about evening walk, since it will definitely be dark by the time I would normally do it. If it wasn't so warm today, I would do mid-day, so maybe this will work as it cools off.
How are the rest of you handling the time change for those of you going through this?
Yesterday, with only one short phone call, I got another good spell of writing done. A chunk of is was still pasting in material I had written elsewhere, but about half of it was original writing, and the total word count was 1983. Today, so far, I've written 408 words, all new (smile.) And my afternoon phone call just got canceled so, I should be able to make at least 1000 words today.
Tomorrow, well, need to go first thing to get my glasses adjusted, and in the afternoon some sort of pulmonary tests, so I will be delighted if I even get 500 done!
Meanwhile, the blooms are scarce on my walks, but I did find this gorgeous rose.
The beautiful rose gives me a thrill that we can survive all sorts of challenges! Good luck with the tests tomorrow.
