Daily Diary, Day 1168: Finally a good day of writing yesterday, 912 new words. And when I am done with this post, except for maybe a phone call in late afternoon, I have time to write. I did my usual major Sunday morning clean (so already 90 minutes of exercise, so no walk this morning.) But I've figured out a route for 30 minute walks after dinner, and I will do my core exercises to round out the day.
Today, I started thinking about what sort of posts I want to do between now and xmas, since I will be taking The Stars are Red Tonight, the novella I have been posting here down on Monday. I might decide to start posting the sequel, but mainly I also don't want to spend too much time on my posts as I try to get the draft done of the current novel I am working on.
Then, I remembered that last year I did a countdown to Dec 25 by posting "My Favorite Things." I thought I might go through that list and see which ones I want to repeat, and which new ones I want to write, and maybe put one up twice a week, starting Monday. A nice cheerful counterpoint to all the health and how many words today stuff I have been writing about.
Rubbing hands, now I need to go and make a list!
Here is a couple of photos from my yard. First is a rose bloom a little past its prime against a jade plant, whose edges turn red this time of year. The second is of the planter in front yard, with my dancing geese and another jade plant, and lavender, which is also doing well this time of year.
Off to make my list and then get to work!

Love your photo's of the flower and planter. I am absolutely in love with the geese!
I am looking forward to the Christmas writings/readings.
Have a great rest of this Sunday.
Thank you for the picture of the rose. I just cut the last of mine...
