I enjoy seeing the moon and it always thrills me, for some reason, to see it in the daytime. I found a moonrise calendar on the web to clue me in on the best viewing times. Tonight is the full moon so it's a double thrill.
Oooh, love to see the moon when it is full. My father had a song he always sang when we looked at the moon together. "I see the moon and the moon sees me, and the moon see's somebody I want to see." And then of course Good Night Moon the evening book for our daughter, and I would sing the song to her. Such good memories!
Yes, and I now I've noticed they have a bunch of other plants right under the hedge so I am wondering if they simply put indoor plants out over the years, so I am going to look to see if anything else blooms.

Interesting, I've never seen an amaryllis growing outdoors. Funny how commercialization of the plant has set my prejudice. So glad you noticed it!
