Daily Diary, Day 759: Both my husband and I have been draggy all day today. Not sure why. I did lose a little sleep - found myself wrestling with the editing I started yesterday, trying to figure out how to best convey the scientific/medical information I needed to convey without it feeling like an info dump.
So this morning I skipped walk so I could get right to trying out my middle of the night ideas. Besides doing PT exercises, the laundry and cleaning that I do in the upstairs ever Friday, that's what I have continued to do. I think it is finally coming together, although this means I only wrote (because I did a lot of deleting) 347 new words yesterday, and have only gotten 304 new words today. Definitely feels like that one step forward, two steps back sort of progress.
I suspect trying to make myself sound like I know what I am talking about when dealing with science issues is intrinsically harder than doing the same thing with historical detail!!!
We have been watching the British Maigret mysteries, based on George Simeon books, which feature a morose French detective in the immediate post WWII world. Rowan Atkinson plays the main character. I have never liked this actor in his Blackadder or Mr. Bean roles, but he really does this part well. Anyway, only 4 episodes, and we have watched 3 so far.
Also watched another episode of Reboot and continuing to find it good light entertainment. Paul Reiser has a key role, and a number of old character actors in various roles.
And here are some more pink pictures to lighten your day!
Beautiful rose! Brightened my day.
