Daily Diary, Day 806: Today was pretty much the same as yesterday, except for the Santa Ana that came in, high winds and warmer. I had a good night's sleep, enjoyed listening to the new Laurie King audiobook and had no trouble doing the full hour walk followed by daily cleaning. Also paid some bills and did some texting with my daughter who was feeling a tiny bit better.
But two sets of friends, one of mine on the east coast, one of my husband in Canada, just came down (as did their spouses) with Covid and are feeling rather poorly. I am feeling so much gratitude that neither my husband I caught anything last week from spending 4 hours in a car sales room!
Yesterday, by the end of the day, I had gotten 899 words written, and today I already have 1024, and hope to get a few more written after dinner.
Tomorrow I have zoom meeting, but nothing else yet scheduled, so maybe I will also get at least a 1000 words done.
Still looking for signs of fall when I walk, here are three more trees that have suddenly gone red, reddish orange.
