Weekly Writing Intentions: April 16, 2022
Daily Diary, Day 594: Last Monday I rambled on about why I saw the start of my week as Monday and how on that Monday I realized I wasn't going to get much writing done. Well, that set the stage for the week. I did get about 200 words written a day, but only in fits and starts between other activities, including phone calls. So, today, a Saturday, I decided to make this the start of my work week. A do-over you might say, to see if I can build up to a better daily word count the rest of the week.
Frankly, Saturdays and Sundays are the days I am least likely to have scheduled responsibilities, except for getting the major cleaning done. As a result, they are actually the best days for writing.
So, I started out today, getting 240 words written before I took my walk. I also combined a phone call with the walk, which will save me time later in the day for writing. It's now 11:30, all the cleaning is done--which means for about 10 mins there isn't any dog hair on any surface--and once I finish this post I will have 30 mins to get a few more words done before PT exercises and lunch. Then all afternoon is free. I hope that I will be able to report at least 1000 words written today. That would be a great start to my new week.
Photo is an interesting plant. I don't know if it supposed to be some sort of a climber that didn't have anything to climb on, or its a splndly version of a plant. Whatever it is, i love the color.
