Daily Diary, Day 1099: For those of you celebrating Labor Day, hope the weather is cooperating for picnics and what-not. We are having a lovely day, weather-wise, in that it was cool at 7:30 for my morning walk and pleasant for the hour doggie play date at 9 for Rio and our dog Leeza.

After zooming around a couple of times, however, Leeza pretty much sat and fell asleep while my husband threw a rubber bone over and over for Rio, who as a border collie thinks this is the very best thing and obviously what my husband was created to do!

Anyway, last night I took a few photos of Leeza doing her falling asleep on the couch in what looks like an uncomfortable position move (I would wake up so stiff!)

I did get some new words on the novel written yesterday, 427 to be exact, however, I have a phone call in 45 minutes and only an hour after lunch before a scheduled phone call that will probably last until dinner, and then second walk for the day.

So, going to sign off and see what I can accomplish in that limited bit of time!
