Daily Diary: Day 1127: Absolutely gorgeous day. Got quite cool last night, 64 in the house when we got up (of course we had the windows open). Cool so far this morning but sunny. However the weather report says that Thursday through Saturday it is going to be in low 80s.

Yesterday, I made progress on the Paradisi posts for this week, but no progress on the novel.. Although this morning I've written over a 100 words, so I am hoping I will achieve some forward movement, although I do have a scheduled phone call for late afternoon.

I've done my cleaning, done my walk, and Rio the border collie was over for the play date. Rio's owner brought some sort of chew for Leeza, who then went and buried it, a behavior we have never seen from her before, although.we know it is something that dogs do. Really amused me.

Every day I see new Halloween decorations, and I am trying hard to pick out ones to share with you that have some sense of style. I have discovered I don't particularly like the plastic ones filled with air, so I will try to limit them. The photo below is from a house that has an overwhelming number of different decorations, but these 3 sitting on a bench are the most inventive
