May showers, more research and new print covers
Daily Diary, May 4, 2023 Day 975:
Since this morning, we have repeated short (30 seconds?) showers, interspersed by sun. It is supposed to stop this afternoon, then increased chance of showers over night. So, I haven't walked yet (husband got caught in this last one walking the dog), but maybe after my noon zoom meeting is over.
Had fun yesterday afternoon and this morning, continuing to read newspapers for the period about dog stealing, problems with the San Francisco Pound. Also looked up information in the directory on mail service, and tried to figure out where someone might hold stolen dogs outside the city limits.
Also got print copies of the first 3 books in the Caelestis series, with their new covers, in the mail today. Wanted to get this done before the 4th book comes out, to see how long it took to go live, show up in places like Amazon and Barnes and Noble, and then ship. I am quite pleased with this new look!
Time to get ready for meeting, hoping the proofed copy will come soon, anxious to get started on publishing process.
I like the new covers. The original of book one is a bit misleading. It doesn't look science fiction. These seem perfect. Hope you can sell the whole series widely.
