Daily Diary, Day 1001: As I wrote this date, it occurred to me I should have made a big deal about yesterday being my 1000th post without a break. When I started this daily diary, prompted by reading Dean Wesley Smiths daily posts about his own much longer streak, I never, ever could imagine doing anything, much less daily posts, with out a single missed day. So here is a belated hooray for me!
This morning I have had my daily cleaning, my morning walk, which I combined with an unscheduled telephone call, and I have made good progress on scene 6 of the short story.
Now time for lunch, then more writing as I wait for the man to come and do the yearly check of the water heater, and then the second walk.
A nice, very routine, productive day.
Last night rewatched an action movie with female lead, called Close, which we enjoyed. We are in a spot where we are looking for new things to watch, because so much of what we see when we cruise through channels we are things we already have seen, tried one or two episodes and didn't enjoy enough to continue, or simply look like they aren't our cup of tea. We go through this occasionally, then will find some movies, which will lead to others, or find a couple of new (or old) tv shows we can binge watch. And there is always midsomer mysteries!
Happy 1000 + hopefully many more! And yes you are right there is always Midsomer M. Even though that we didn't really really enjoyed the last season as much as the previous ones. Happy writing hours!
We've blown our way through all the current Midsommers. Waiting for a new season. Must admit we're finding the second wave Barnaby is beginning to wear a little thin with how he treats his sargeant and his wife.
