Daily Diary, Day 982:
This is going to be short, because I have my regular noon zoom meeting, then another meeting after that. This morning, I tried to get caught up on emails and articles, cleaned, had a brief phone call, walked 45 minutes, and did some prep work for the noon meeting.
Tomorrow is the grand adventure of going out and meeting with friends in a restaurant (sitting outside for 2 of us with health issues) that was rained out last Friday. This means taking a longer drive in the EV than I’ve done before, with the interesting question of how much of the charge will it use up. Anyway, much of the day will be taken up with that adventure, so I do want to get a little writing time in this afternoon.
Last night, the new episode of Brokenwood showed up, finally, so that is what we watched.
Tides of Acerba is selling steadily, so now I am switching to looking to see if anyone has finished it and put up a review (smile.)
I got lots of photos of flowers today, but instead I'm going to post one of a bird in feeder this morning. I think it was a juvenile house finch, but it had these little tuffs that I haven’t seen in any of the others. Whether that is left over from its fluffy baby stage, or a different kind of bird I don’t know. Will research later. Anyway very cute.
What’s Brokenwood? Always looking for good shows.
Probably a teenage bird. I have seen some with their parents every now and then.
