Daily Diary, Day 912: A very sunny day, although still cold. So much nicer weather than most of the United States is having. Although I had to laugh last evening when suddenly 3 people who live in neighborhoods in the northeastern part of San Diego all posted at the same time with pictures of hail on the ground! I'm not the only one who gets excited about any change in the weather.
I went off and got my fasting blood tests this morning, all went smoothly, except that when I got home they called to say they forgot to have me give them a urine sample, so I need to go back tomorrow. Oh, well, gets me driving out and about. Needed to recharge our car battery this afternoon because it was down to 35%, but my husband discovered we hadn't charged it the whole month of February!
I did my noon zoom meeting, but not much else but work on my editing. I spent the morning going over yesterday's work. There had been so much rewriting that little errors had crept in. So by lunch I hadn't cut anything, but added 77 words. This afternoon, I made it part of the way through another long chapter, and have cut 978 words. But I have to stop now, get dinner, because I have a phone call with old friend to strategize how to go about getting a publisher for the non-fiction books she has been working on for years and is nearing completion.
I do love giving advice (smile.)
Leaving you with a picture of our bird feeder with a song sparrow on it. More and more birds are finding it, and at this point I need to refill every other day. Haven't seen the squirrel again.
