Daily Diary, Day 911: I can't believe it is already March. And boy, did it come in like a lion. Rain in the morning, and this afternoon, incredible gusts of wind, the local measurement hitting 15-20 mph.
Another good day of writing, 1407 words cut. Only made it through a couple of chapters, because one of them was very tricky. I needed to convey major plot points, but the information came partially from sentient animals who I wanted to establish as real characters. And it was too long, and some of it was more of a flashback, which didn't work. Making the changes made my brain hurt, but I think I got it straightened out.
I also had a scheduled phone call, but that's about all I did besides cleaning...and whoops, just remembered there is some laundry in the washer I need to put over into the dryer!!!
Time to do that and then make myself some dinner. Tomorrow I go in early to do some fasting lab tests, and have my noon zoom meeting as well as a phone call scheduled in the late afternoon. So, don't know how much else will get done.
Here is a photo of some early rose blooms from last week, hope to at least get a walk in tomorrow, which I didn't today.
Continued good luck with your editing and thanks for another peek of Spring. Yellow roses are so cheery.
