Daily Diary, Day 1033: Very hectic day, with some unexpected confusion between what we thought we were getting from the landscaping proposal, and what it appeared we were getting. Neither my husband nor I enjoy conflict, so this entailed a good deal of discussion, explaining our point of view, with various people. Not yet completely resolved, and failures on their side (not having the right number of bricks for the planter wall, not having brought then gopher screen (we have lots of gopher activity), means that finishing the job will probably not happen until Weds, given the July 4th holiday. Not a terrible inconvenience, just more days when my husband and I have to do more juggling in terms of when we take walks, etc.
So, while I did get my walk in this morning, between the various discussions, phone calls with landscapers, plus my regular zoom meeting and a scheduled hour meeting on the phone afterwards, I'm all tuckered out! I am almost done with a post on the importance of newsletters as a form of marketing, which I would like to get up tomorrow, so I can link to the handout I will be using for my workshop on Saturday.
Otherwise, my second walk and some quiet time before dinner, and a hope that tomorrow is less stressful Here is one of those hybrid roses I love, the only one on the bush that wasn't past its prime. Calms me down just looking at it.
This is a gorgeous bloom!
