Daily Diary, Day 1018: Got sunny this afternoon, although the clouds are rolling in again already. I have just finished scene 9, and if I make this post short enough, I should still have time before my before dinner walk to do one more review of scene 8 before putting it up on substack tomorrow.
I had my usual Thursday noon zoom meeting, with a short unschedule phone call afterwards. However, besides usual morning routine of checking emails, skimming newspaper headlines, reading a couple of substack posts, then usual dust and sweep, and morning walk, it has been a very uneventful day. Oh, except that after walk I had a couple of slices of fresh whole wheat bread that my husband had spent the morning making. Yum...
Last night we did watch the first Ted Danson CSI episode, at least, unlike with Silent Witness, I did remember most of the characters from the early seasons I had watched. We also started rewatching Lodge 49, and were reminded of how much we liked it. Unfortunately, it is about to go away from whatever streaming channel it is on, so we may actually have to buy it, if we can, because it is certainly a keeper, but one of those series they stopped after 2 seasons. sigh.
Here are some perky pansies I saw on my walk this morning. Doing much better than the ones I have in pots on my kitchen window sill. I may need to try planting these outside, see if they do better there.
