Daily Diary, Day 653: As I expected, not much editing time yesterday. I did do some rewriting of next chapter-but in this case it was adding more description, so ended up adding 132 words. This morning I've done my first walk, my exercises, and finished rewriting the chapter I started yesterday. I've finished lunch and really don't have anything else scheduled, so hope to get a good number of chapters edited today, to make up for yesterday.
Just a reminder that there are only two more days that the science fiction StoryBundle that Between Mountain and Sea is part of is available. Loads of books and stories for a very low price.
I’ve noticed a good number of new subscribers over the past day. I’m always curious how people find this newsletter, so I would love if you commented on what brought you here. I’ve just finished a draft of my newest novella and I am working hard to get it edited, so I’ve not been posting my usual Historical Tidbit and Indie Author Journey posts these past 2 weeks, but I should back to these next week. So meantime, I’m mostly reporting my progress on the novella. Hope you all hang around!
Meanwhile, weather here in San Diego is beautiful. After a few gray days (we call it June Gloom), the sun came out early, with a nice breeze keeping things relatively cool. I thought I would concentrate on photographing more daisy-like blooms on my morning walk.
