Daily Diary, Day 640: So hard to believe it is already June! Weather suddenly beautiful, not too hot, not too cold. Wish I could safely walk, but going slow with the foot. By end of day yesterday, despite staying off of it, started to ache, and this morning I did my usual dusting, sweeping, etc, and ached again after being on my feet. So not pushing it. Thankfully it calms down quickly, which tells me it is probably not a new break, but just a flare up of the arthritis the break seems to have caused. Next stage is to try regular shoes, see what happens.
On the up side, getting more writing done. 967 words written yesterday. Then in the evening a lovely long phone call with my oldest friend, where we tried to limit our discussion of our various ailments!
My Victorian San Francisco Novellas collection (ebook edition) is free for a brief promotion today, with the BookBub email going out this morning. See this link in case you are interested in getting a free copy, free in all major retailers.
I have already had 10,500 downloads of the ebook, showing at #52 on the entire Kindle Free list. Now, of course, the hope is that this will get me some new readers, who will go on and buy my other books!
In addition, AppleBooks just made the audiobook version Free as well, so this is a good deal for those of you who prefer to listen rather than read your books.
Meanwhile, I've already got 360 words written today! Feeling good about the possibility of getting the draft of this new novella finished this weekend.
