Daily Diary, Day 1065: Hard to believe it is already the end of July. We are having another one of those warm, overcast, humid days. I did get in 30 minute walk this morning but I bailed on a walk yesterday afternoon, since it was still in the 80s, even after dinner. Going to try to walk this afternoon, because only mid 70s.
We are now on the 5th and final season of Orphan Black, and actually watched 3 episodes yesterday, I think we are ready to complete the story, so I won't be surprised if we at least watch 2 episodes tonight.
After walk was Rio the Border Collie's visit, then a nice long call from our daughter all about oldest grandson's theatre workshop (he is 13) because they had the 3 performances this weekend. He had some speaking lines as different characters, and some singing, and evidently thoroughly enjoyed himself. Has a one week Shakespeare workshop at the end of August.
Then I had a scheduled phone call, lunch, and I have spent the last hour doing more tedious updating of files with the new buy link. I still have one more beta reader to get back to me, hopefully today, so I am reserving tomorrow to do the final edit before sending on to the copy editor.
Some rose bushes are definitely getting into their second bloom, here is one from the neighborhood that is going to town, certainly in a lot better shape than our one yellow rose bush. I am surprised that 30 years of mistreatment by me hasn't killed it yet, but you never know.
