Daily Diary, Day 1062: Today is one of those days where living close to the coast means that the marine layer is keeping temperatures moderate. Sun came out weakly for an hour or so, and temp got up to 78, but then clouds came back in and we are back down to 74. But boy was it humid this morning, leaving me feeling very enervated after about an hour and a half of cleaning and laundry.
Yesterday I worked some in the afternoon on getting ready to re-upload texts with the new Dandy and Dognappers link. Amazon shows 79 pre-orders, which is having it show up in the top 100 bestselling list for historical mysteries and mysteries with amateur sleuths. (smile)
This morning, I went through and corrected the typos that some of my beta readers found on the manuscript, and after my scheduled afternoon phone call, I will take the time to actually upload some of the updated texts I did yesterday. Then I will take at least a 20 minute walk before dinner, longer it if hasn't gotten hotter and more humid by that time.
We watched an Orphan Black last night, then a movie we own but hadn't watched in ages. A fun independent film called Living in Oblivion, about making an independent film!
I did find a couple more pink roses blooms on yesterday's walk, these were on a bush with lots of buds, I assume the owner was good about cutting back after the first blooms in the spring and that I am seeing next round.
