Daily Diary, Day 1055: I must say I am finding the sunny days (although still occasionally bracketed by fog in the very early morning or late evening), quite nice. Especially with the fall-back of the A/C. Yesterday, after my late afternoon walk, I was having trouble cooling off. Seeing that the thermostat inside had hit 79, decided to turn AC on, which made for a much more comfortable evening.
Today it is slower to get hot inside, so we shall see.
Meanwhile, the morning was spent doing 4 loads of laundry, doing the thorough dusting, mopping, cleaning of bathrooms of the upstairs that I do on Fridays, paying bills, ordering groceries, and I still got a couple more chapters edited and 10 minutes of PT done before lunch (no walk, but the cleaning definitely caused me to perspire!)
I have a phone call scheduled now after lunch, but will try to get more chapters edited before the before dinner walk.
Continuing to enjoy birds outside at the feeder, Leeza is ever vigilant looking for the squirrels, and not surprisingly, the hot weather has brought in a few ant scouts, which I am being vigilant about! Still enjoying Orphan Black, only one more episode of Clatterford, sniff, but we watched the first episode of the new Justified and enjoyed, and it looks like new seasons of the Hillerman TV series, Dark Wind, and the comedy Reservation Dogs, are coming, as is a new season of True Detective-with no other than Jodie Foster, so some new TV shows to look forward to.
Time for my phone call, so here is a bougainvillea that is climbing up some trees, making a striking contrast!
