Daily Diary, Day 679: Spent the weekend rereading my Caelestis Trilogy. I had forgotten how much I loved all these characters and how much I still had to say about them, so I have definitely decided to write at least one more book in this series before getting back to Victorian San Francisco. Since this series is part of the shared Paradisi Chronicle world, with stories by other authors, my next task is to reread (skim) through a number of these stories that intersect with my own, as I continue to work on figuring what the plot of my next story is going to be.
I am also getting my routine back––morning walk, mid-day PT exercises––scheduling phone calls, etc. This morning I put away groceries that were delivered, did a 50 min walk, chatted with a neighbor on the walk, followed up with the dog play date with Rio, and now this post. Next, I will get back to skimming through next Paradisi story.
I still haven't gotten novella back from proof reader, but all ready to go when I do.
I am having to work hard to find anything to take a photo of on walk, the continued drought has really done a number on our flora. But this is making me notice things I hadn't noticed before--like this clever ornament in one yard. I can't tell if there is actually an old bike as part of it, or just interesting use of wood and vines to make it look like a bike! But in either case, made me smile.
Heavens! You are some work in progress. My other -- of 52 years -- is presently heavily engaged in her new art course lesson, in the Zen of it all, trying to shake loose and just DO. I watch in amazement, both of you. Wow.
