Daily Diary, Day 872: Weekly Writing Intentions
While last week, for a variety of reasons, I didn't make my exercise and my writing goals, I wasn't too far off. I wrote a total of 4,063 words and averaged 64 minutes of exercise. Along with the usual phone calls, and marketing activities-like a newsletter.
The sore foot, did make me be very careful, not just about how long I walked, but I also tried not to stand for too long. However my caution seems to have let it heal quickly, and I actually got in a 40 minute walk today with a total of 95 minutes of exercise. I also have gotten 740 words written today, did three loads of laundry, put away all the groceries, and listened to more of the Anne McCaffrey audiobook.
So, I guess I would say that my intentions for this coming week is to keep up the good work and see if I can meet my goals of 5000 words and an average of 90 minutes of exercise. Monday, I have three phone calls scheduled, which will take up much of the day, so I hope to get ahead on the writing tomorrow. However, the rest of the week is still pretty free.
I really, really hope that if I keep to my 5000 word goal, I will be at the climax and final chapters by the end of the month. That would be so heavenly!
To do that I will need to be as "busy as a bee," and to celebrate that goal, here is a photo from today. Only after I took the photo did I realize there was a bee busy in the center of the flower!
Oh Mary Lou, you will achieve your goal. I learn so much from your discipline and determination. I have none right now with so many freelance commitments but one day, like you, I will SET GOALS and ACHIEVE like you. If only...
