Having our own mild heat wave!

Daily Diary, Day 1103:

Entering into a 3-4 day hot spell, (80s) so I reorganized my cleaning/walking schedule today. I still did 45 minutes cleaning, but will finish up on the upstairs tomorrow, and I got out early to do my morning walk. We already have the A/C on, and I don’t plan on walking this evening because it will be too hot, but I might even try to do two sessions of my pilates exercises.

Yesterday, I didn’t get time to do anything but cleaning and my two walks because it was my usual noon zoom meeting, with short phone call in morning and short one after the meeting. But, I also got more written yesterday, 655 words, so that was definitely a win! We watched the last two episodes of Unforgotten, again, enjoyed, and then watched another episode of Reservation Dogs, very sweet.

Today, I only have one phone call planned, right after lunch, and I already have 313 words written. So, going to sign off now, and get to my exercises.

I walked a different route the other evening, and ran into this cacti. There are a few in the neighborhood, but none of the others ever seem to bloom. In a day these will probably be completely wilted, but it was lovely to see them!
