Daily Diary, Day 901:

A very hurried post, and later than usual because I completely forgot I had a 4 pm phone call scheduled. Truth is, I think I forgot it was Sunday, when I always have an afternoon call scheduled. I have been writing furiously all day and while I’m not done with the last chapter, I have actually gotten 1634 words written, and I have every confidence I will finish tomorrow.

I am feeling quite good about this last chapter, and as you can see from the word count, I turned out being more thorough than I had planned.

I also did the weekly cleaning of the downstairs, with laundry, but that is about all I did except write.

Last night, we watched another new episode of Death in Paradise, slightly miffed that it turned out to be “to continued,” so we have to wait until next week to learn what happened. This is a show that hasn’t hesitated to kill off the main protagonist, and certainly has not permitted much “happily ever after,” situations for the main characters, so I confess, this particular plot makes me nervous!

Finally, time to sign off now, because it is dinner time. I would like to get a few more paragraphs done after dinner, before starting to watch tv for the night.
