Daily Diary, Day 892: I don't think this will be a day of many words written, only 108 so far, but it is a day when I am finally getting a clearer vision of the action in the climax scenes. If I am successful, I should be able to move fairly quickly through this scene over the next three days.
Otherwise, typical Friday. Some cleaning, laundry, walk, then play date between our dog and Rio. Then some work, lunch, and in about 10 minutes I have a phone call. Then I hope some more plotting, and maybe even a few more words.
There was so much wind last night that our dog freaked out, about 1 pm came upstairs, wouldn't settle, moved her blankets near to my husband's side of bed, she didn't settle, I finally fell asleep to be startled awake by her looming down at me, trying to get into bed on my side. So we moved the bedding to my side of the bed, and she finally settled. All of which means my night was broken up, and it didn't help that the anti-biotic is producing a bit of nausea. Not enough to warrant seeing if I need to switch to a different RX, but enough to make it harder to get back to sleep each time Leeza woke me up.
However, today, a new dog bed, one of those bagel beds (round with a raised edge all around) is coming. I was motivated to get because this winter she has taken to digging up whatever blanket is on her regular beds into sort of pillows. This of course negates the purpose of the blankets to make it easy to keep the dog beds clean. So, I am hoping this new bed will give her the pillow she likes and solve that problem.
Time for call, so here is single bloom I found on walk today.
