Daily Diary, Day 848: Well it did rain all last night, but that kind of fine misty rain, doesn't really make any sound, and it was done before sun was up. Local station measured .81 inch total, not a lot, but enough to make plants seriously happy. The weather report suggests showers off and on over the next few weeks, and not getting higher than the low sixties during the day. Good walking weather because not too cold during morning, nor too hot the rest of the day.
In fact, cool enough that I made the decision I could postpone walking until after lunch, when I could save writing time by combining a scheduled phone call and my walk. As a result, I've already written just shy of 1000 words so far, and an hour more writing time. Yesterday, by the time dinner came, I'd actually wracked up 1924 words. And once again, hoping to keep the momentum going the rest of his week.
So, signing off, with another odd tree. It is shaped like an evergreen, but the needles on the branches are so long and thick that I am wondering if that is true.
