Daily Diary, Day 847: Change in the weather definitely happening. Got to low 50s last night, then this morning only partly cloudy, so walk was pleasantly in the mid sixties, but around noon the temperature began to drop and now we have a thick fog that's rolled in from the coast. 99% chance of rain predicted by 10 pm, rain most of the night, then clearing in the morning. I know this is not very exciting given what many of you have gone through in the past week, but as you know, any kind of weather is one of my favorite things!
As is bread, and my husband made a fresh loaf today. AND I had no phone calls, and, not coincidentally, I've gotten 1245 words written, the most in one day in three weeks.
I also came up with a tentative title for book 5, and a possible cover.
So, productive day all around. We watched the new start to Death in Paradise last night, and the first episode of something called Recruit (lawyer new to CIA who gets in lots of trouble.) So far a nice combination of action and humor. Tonight, I suspect we will watch another episode of that and newest episode of Midsomer Murders.
And here are 2 photos of a yard that has a tree with moss on it! With all the surrounding yards having desert-like succulents and palm trees, then wham, you suddenly you feel like you are in the swamps of Louisiana!!
