Walk, writing, phone calls, flowers, just another lovely day!

Daily Diary, Day 1074: I got going on my walk early again this morning, partly to beat the heat, but also because I had a doctor's appointment in the early afternoon, so I was going to have to have lunch earlier and I also have a phone meeting scheduled this morning. But the clinic called to say I needed to reschedule, which I did for Monday, so the day appears a bit freer.

I have finished 2 recommendation posts-the first will go up tomorrow, and I have one more Historical Tidbit written as well, So, if I am able to use the extra time I won from the canceled appointment to finish the author corner post I have started for today, will be well ahead of the game.

Yesterday I had a lovely long phone call with a cousin. We had started doing fairly frequent zoom calls last year, but were both surprised when we realized I hadn't talked to him since right before Christmas! Time really does march on by, but it was good to catch up.

Here is a very vibrant stand of ??? As usual, I can't remember and can't be bothered to look up what they are but I can enjoy them just the same and hope you all do as well.
