Daily Diary, Day 1072: Another day that started out quite foggy, but the fog had burned off by 8:30 as I finished my first walk of the day. I pushed myself to do 40 minutes because forecast was for it to get hotter today, so I wanted to keep my later-in-the day walk shorter. Glad I did, because it is already 84 degrees outside.
Today was the play date with Border Collie Rio, then I worked on some correspondence related to promotions, and started on the Recommendations post for this Thursday.
Tomorrow, I have a zoom call with a cousin that will probably take up most of morning, and Wednesday I have a scheduled phone call in morning, then a doctor's appointment that may take some time in the afternoon, followed by a phone date with best friend, so it made sense to try to get the Thursday post written today if possible.
In addition, during this brief interlude when the book is at the proof reader, I want to get ahead as much as possible on the posts that go beyond usual check in, so when I get the book back I have time to do final clean up and then uploading the novella for publication. To that end, I got drafts done for 2 Historical Tidbit posts yesterday, and if I have time after finishing this recommendations post, will start on an Authors Corner post for next week.
Meanwhile, I promised you more blooms. This one I actually got this morning, pretty in pink!
Great update. Roses are so gorgeous. Wondered what your Dr. said?
