Daily Diary, Day 724:

Tuesday, I spent a good deal of time writing the Historical Tidbits post for yesterday, so, while I did get writing done, just wasn’t on the novel. However, I had a lovely day making things up! The next scene in the novel required me to make up information about a second country on the New Eden planet, the country Vida that borders Caelestis where the other books have been concentrated on. This meant filling in the basic geography of the country, giving names to some lakes, deciding what the country's governing system would be, etc. Such fun, but only 441 words written.

Then, yesterday, I got back to writing and got 1328 words written and finished that scene. Today, I've walked, done some advertising stuff, now doing this post, and then, maybe, will get some words written before my regular noon zoom meeting, and a possible phone call or two afterwards. I never really expect a lot of writing on Thursdays, but I am only 500 words short of my 5000 word goal, and I still have all of tomorrow, so I’m feeling pretty optimistic.

Here is a strange plant, not sure if you would call it a succulent. but it is one of the few plants putting out blossoms, and even it looks a little peaked.
